Information about Band Night 2000
'Band Night 2000' was the second of such events to be held at Bognor Regis Community College. It was organised to promote new bands in the Bognor Regis area. The three hour long event involved four local bands, Badge, Flavors, Mr Majeekas, and Asylum. Due to poor advertising only a handfull of people got to witness the original and sometimes exciting music on show on the 6th April 2000. However a video of the performance does exist, and is available from 'Naffco Productions' (a division of 'Norfolk 'n' Chance')...it's worth seeing for the heavy rock re-working of 'Livin' La Vida Loca' alone! If anyone is interested in purchasing a tape please e-mail me (see the 'contact information' page for details). Photos of the other bands who perfomed on that night can be found under the other 'Band Night 2000' pages.

[19] Asylum
The photos on this page are all of a band called Asylum, a four piece band from Bognor Regis, whose music is influenced by Radiohead. The band involves Greg Boulton (vocals and lead guitar), Terry Devane (rhythm guitar), Dave Stobbs (bass guitar), and Andy Phipps (drums). Unfortunately, due to several members of the band going to university, the band has since split up, leaving Dave and Andy to concentrate on their other band, Mr Majeekas. |
