Urban Swallow
The photos on this page were all taken at a recent gig at 'The Lamb Inn', Bognor Regis.
Urban Swallow are probably the best known band from Bognor Regis. They formed back in the summer of 1997, and consist of Olly Hite, Martin Bishop, Nathan Smithers, and Joel Western.
They had performed at numerous venues around the local area, including 'Rox on the Prom', and the 'Wedgewood Rooms' in Southsea, and have since had gigs at 'The Hard Rock Cafe', London, and an event to promote 'Noise' magazine.
They released their first EP, 'The Waiting Room', on the 5th July 1999, a four track recording which sold well and got them noticed by a management company, 'Not Them Ltd.'.
'Not Them Ltd.' boosted their publicity and have sent them on numerous tours across the UK, including a gig at Dublin Castle (check out their website for the latest tour details).
On the 21st of December 2000 the band released their second EP, 'Alive', a nine track album which includes the exellent 'Phase Me'. The album is available from the band's website (see the 'links' page).
